Based on recent comments coming from GOP presidential candidates like Rick Santorum and Ron Paul (whose foreign policy ideas align with my own in most cases, but whose domestic ideas I think are just simply nuts) and a Pew Global Trust survey it seems America is a Christian-first nation.
I don't think that's very surprising to most people. However, it does sort of cast a shadow of hypocrisy on those in the U.S. who fear monger about Islamic law taking over America, while simultaneously pushing a Christian agenda on the people of this nation.
I also find it funny how many Islamophobes will ask Muslim Americans to voice their allegiance for America or who question if Muslim Americans place their faith before their nationality.
The hypocrisy is just too obvious.
